Ok not so much the game Street Fighter 4, it is related isn’t it? Anyway, Street Fighter 4 publisher Capcom has announced the main cast for the new upcoming live action movie Street Fighter, which is of coursed based on the characters of the video game…(see knew it was related)
20th Century Fox will distribute, and the movie this is centered round character Chun-Li who is to be portrayed by actress Kristen Kreuk from Smallville. Other starts will include Taboo of the Black EyedPeas, Michael Clark Duncan from The Green Mile, and Neal McDonough from The Hitcher.
Critics slammed the original Street Fighter movie starring Jean-Claude Van Damme back in 1995, with Time Out describing it as a “noisy brainless mess.” This new Street Fighter movie is currently being shop by Hyde Park Films and should be in cinemas worldwide by 2009 to fall in with Capcom’s Street Fighter 20th anniversary celebrations.
