Damnation comes to PS3 this winter says Codemasters

Damnation

Codemasters have announced another new game, a shooter gone vertical, Damnation, developed by Blue Omega Entertainment, which promises to “change the landscape of third-person action shooter forever” (big claim that!)

Damnation is due release this winter and is supposed to feature “huge open environments, daredevil acrobatics, frenetic combat, and high octane vehicle based stunts.” Damnation centres around an arms dealer who is hell bent on world domination.

The press release gave out the usual spiel, but hardly any details of just what a gamer can expect from the game. Apparently each level will have up to 3 hours game play (could be too much) while gamers will have the ability to choose their own paths while taking advantage of various abilities to get from one point to the next.

Damnation comes complete with multiplayer mode that takes advantage to the maximum with the virtual nature of said game.
