Since its release to the UK masses 5 days ago, Devil May Cry 4 has done exceptionally well, and shoved Burnout paradise off the top position. Although exact numbers are still not available, Devil May Cry 4 sits nicely at the number 1 place on the PS3 and Xbox 360 charts, but in the all formats charts as well.
39% of all sales of the game are attributed to the PS3 version, and well at first glance maybe 39% doesn’t seem that much, however, when you take into consideration the huge amount of gamers who could choose between the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, 39% begins to look less disappointing doesn’t it?
When you consider the PS3 version of Devil May cry 4 was £10 dearer, and suffered from a bad case of lagging install, a whole 20 minute lag before gameplay could begin 39% of sales does look very promising.
