Yep it’s all over by the shouting apparently because iSuppli – the makers of iAnalyze have pronounced the PS3 to be the victor in the latest war of the consoles. Apparently there are millions of Wii users at present who will be racing to upgrade to a newer system within a year.
This year is being hailed as the year of the PS3’s big turnaround; apparently Wii owners will look upon the PS3 as the second console of choice. Why’s this you may well ask?
Well it’s partly based on the assumption that Sony is going to slash the price of the PS3 even further to hopefully pull in the Wii gamers; another factor to take into consideration is the Blu-ray. So mix in for superb titles along with a variety of pick-ups and game titles on the PSN. Probably PS3 sales will pick up as well but that’s not to say it’s because all the Wii gamers are changing consoles.
