Atari has recently announced it is I development of a Nintendo DS game which is specifically designed to help new drivers practise, revise, and take advantage of virtual tests in the driving theory and Highway Code.Apparently Driving Training Theory will feature the full driving theory questions and answers which is officially licensed by the Driving Standards Agency.
This game claims to be the first DS title to be “used as a new media device to help learners study and simulate the actual test.” The game package features the complete Highway Code and is intended to help learner drives benefit from graphics, revision, mini-games along with questions and answers relating to the use of vehicles on the road.
Atari UK managing director, Jeremy Wigmore states: “Knowing the rules of the road and the Highway Code is vital part of driving and passing your theory test. Everything from speed limits to stopping distances is covered using the official question bank featured in the actual test. The application also includes the full Highway Code and fun driving-related games. Wherever they are, players can take the test, revise the questions or simply play challenges.”
Atari’s Driving training Theory is to be released on the Nintendo DS sometime this coming summer.
