Take the bullet train and rent a free DS

bullet train

So you take a trip on a train in Japan, and what do you do, you forget your DS, and so you’re bored. Well now you don’t have to be bored or worried because JR East is bringing out a great new program to suit your needs. Starting Feb 14th and continuing till 28th March, JR East will have 20 DS systems per day for free loan to passengers on the Shinkansen, otherwise known as the bullet train on the Hiroshima/Tokyo route.

Passengers who loan a DS will also be able to select two games and hold onto them for three days; the purpose of this scheme is to claw back some marketshare from airlines. Sounds like a good move, and one DS fans will enjoy if visiting Japan.
