Reports arriving from Australia’s Smarthouse are citing that insiders at Microsoft in the US are claiming a Blu-ray add-on for the Xbox 360 is well on its way in development, and may even be ready for launching in maybe three months. As yet Microsoft hasn’t commented whether these reports are valid, however, according to engadget they say…“we will wait until we hear from Toshiba before announcing any specific plans around the Xbox 360 HD DVD player.”And as Microsoft has very little to do with format wars it shouldn’t be too surprising if we see the arrival of a Blu-ray into the mix in the near future as Microsoft have said in the past, it could happen!
